dean & phoebe present: a charity love auction!
For the first time, Dean Emerton and Phoebe Hollingsworth are teaming together to bring you a bachelor/bachelorette charity auction of epic proportions! All proceeds will go to the American Heart Association, UNICEF, and the Green For All Campaign. The winners will go on a fantastic date-- the more money raised by one particular person, the bigger and better the date!

Ten single males and ten single females will be put up for auction. Not single, but still want to participate? No problem! Six taken males and six taken females will be put up for platonic/friendship dates.

Don't want to be put up for auction, but you think someone might nominate you? Let us know that you don't want to be auctioned off here.
A questionnaire is up HERE, and auctioneers will have 48 hours to hand in their answers. They don't have to be long answers, but it will help us determine your "Auction Blurb" and the date you'll be trying to win!
you CAN still bid on other people even if you are one of the people up for auction!
The auction started on August 1, 2009 and there will be a bidding post put up for each sex. Bidding will end midnight on August 4, 2009 and will be posted a few days after.

Before we look at the date packages and see who won what, please note that at the last second we had a huge amount of bids. Anything after the 12:00 time mark was not counted. If there are any disputes, screen shots can be offered of the 12:00 time mark and where your bid was. Also, if you notice that you've won a date, but you didn't bid -- that just means that someone placed a bid in your honor! We have been asked to keep all these bids anonymously, but if it really bugs you, you can ask around to your friends! And if you didn't win anything, don't worry! You can use this post to comment with an additional monetary donation. Money donations, matching bid amounts, etc, can be commented to this post, comments are screened.
