Yes my friends, it's that time again! Break out those checkbooks and get ready to bid on an epic charity auction. However, this auction is going to be a little bit different than the ones in the past. We thought it was time to spice things up and change it around because of how successful the previous ones had been, so make sure to read the 4-1-1 below. This time instead of picking two or three charities, the money will go to... YOU pick the ones you want it to go to. So don't be afraid to plea your case for your charity and bid high!
The 4-1-1
There is NO cap on female and male nominations. Everyone and anyone can sign up for this auction.
Nominations will run from Wednesday, May 11th at 11 PM EST and last until Saturday, May 14th at 10 PM EST. When you drop off your name, please also drop off the charity to which you want to donate.
Come up with a creative "date" package, make people WANT to bid on you and your charity.
The auction will begin at Sunday, May 15th at 12:01 AM and end on Monday, May 16th at 11 PM.
As a nominee, you may bid on other people, but everyone can only win ONE person.
You may only bid in increments of 10k. So if someone gets bid on at $7,000, you may only go up another $10,000. So 7,000+10,000 = $17,000 as a max bid. It gives everyone a more fair chance and also keeps things interesting.
You also MAY NOT bid on a significant other. Sorry guys, but branch out! See someone you think is interesting but never had the nerve to talk to them? Let this be your ice breaker! Maybe had a crush on the cute girl? Win her heart by supporting her charity.
